Ate Is Enough


Two Berkeley students played by t.v. actors (Laurie Walters from Eight Is Enough and Joe Spano from Hill Street Blues) go for a picnic in the country, and before you can say “Hansel And Gretel”, they get lost and are offered the hospitality of a kindly old cannibal witch and her two hillbilly bohunk offspring in this cheap creeper that faded so quickly and deeply into obscurity after its release that even your ol’ Uncle Ghastly hadn’t heard of it ’til now. The moral of this grim little fairytale? You can’t trust sweet lil old ladies any farther than you could throw ’em…
